I really should have sent it back. I found out that the wire that connects the monitor is actually fed though a hole drilled in the bottom of the headrest instead of through the post that holds the headrest to the seat (like some that I've seen). So a wire comes out of the hole drilled in the headrest with a connector, then you have to run a wire up the back of the seat (thanks to this forum I was able to find someone that has done this before--good ole' coat hanger solution) but you have the cables attached with a huge unsightly connector between the headrest and the seat that has a tendency to short out.
I've driven from Chicago to Denver and back twice in the past year. I have two daughters (4 and 10yo). Both times I spent more time adjusting the damn headphone jacks because they are always shorting out. So I'm in the middle of Nebraska and my 4 year old says, "daddy, I can't hear it again." Ug...
Also, where did you mount your Pyle?--that DVD player looks like a 8 track player from the 70s-just because I like my truck big, doesn't mean I want my DVD player the same!
My good friend RedBullJunkie has Visualogic which I'll be getting soon. Then, each kid can watch their own movie and less wiring.
BTW- driving on I76 from the corner of Colorado to Denver is fun--100+mph--freeks the other drivers out to have an H2 pass them that fast.
