Dennis: What stupid things? What old threads? I don't seem to recall a thing and simply don't know what you're even talking about...

Somehow, I don't think that it's the dealer that's screwing me...well maybe the first one that I bought my H2 from, but not the dealer who is currently getting my H2 about once every month or so. To the contrary, this dealer seems to be really, really, really trying...so much so that I might even consider buying my next vehicle from them, if I decide to ever buy another GM vehicle that is.

Evidently, the misplaced weirdly routed emergency brake cables were done that way on the assembly line, came that way from the factory (at least that's what the Hummer Customer nonAssistance Center told me...so everyone with one of the earlier production models, CHECK YOUR EMERGENCY BRAKE CABLES!!!). It wasn't noticeable and I probably would have never known about it, but with either use or age they got loose and started sagging way down below the frame and skid plates on the bottom, and checking my H2 from top to bottom as I am so prone to do anymore given its history, I just happened to notice and thought "this can't be right". So now the dealer is once again stuck trying to figure out how to safely correct/fix one of GM's mistakes on this godforsaken problem-plagued H2 of mine.

So I really think that it's General Motors who's screwing me. After all, GM built the vehicle...actually AM General Corp manufactured it under contract to GM, so maybe it's really AMG who screwed me? Regardless, I sincerely doubt that any of the GM or AMG corporates would be willing to put themselves, let alone their wife, mother or daughter in a truck like mine, so why are they trying to fight me on it? Why won't they take responsibility for it? Your guess is as good as mine...
