Don't recall if you mentioned it before or not but if you don't mind, what are they charging you a month for the 24 month lease? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Disclaimer..please no one tell me I got screwed, cause if I did it would be too depressing to know ;-)

Victory Red, Adventure Package, Sun Roof, CD-MP3 Monsoon. 24 months 12K per year with 1,200 total out of pocket (first month, title, plate transfer, all that other jazz), $440 per month. In fairness to the dealer they did give me a good chunk of money to help get out of my other GMAC lease that didn't qualify for the Pull Ahead Program.

Intersting side note, I knew I was going get screwed on the last lease. I knew the the H3 would be out about this time and the 2 year lease was going to be too short and the 3 year too long...although I must say I cut it pretty close!

I have to say, from what I have seen there is absolutely no way I could say you got screwed This is the lowest rate I have seen quoted and as I recall, most were talking about 36 month leases with money down plus the usual fees. I am very encouraged by this I don't recall anyone getting below $500/mo on the H3. What was the final price on your H3? Do you have any idea what a 36 month would go for? I really want to lease because I get tired of a vehicle in 2-3 years anyway and unless you put a lot down to buy you tend to be upside down in that time frame Where are you located and what dealer did you go through? I am surprised they gave an to help get out of your old lease on such a hot vehicle. Sorry for all the questions but you just made my day

The spare will work fine as all tires are 33" tall.

Hi I'm in Michigan, Suburban Hummer of Troy. Total GMS price of vehicle was 29840. I asked about two and three year leases and they told me with the residuals this was one of the few times you came out ahead on a two year lease. (Typically the extra deprection isn't that much compared to the fact you are adding tweleve payments).

Boy you made my day saying that I got a deal so I guess we are even. I had put a 500 (refundable deposit) down last July and kept in touch with the dealer (which I think helped) but I really was impressed by the dealer!

Please feel free to ask any other questions! Any information I can provide to help out other forum members I will!

P.S.

On a totally unrelated note I have to say this is the BEST sunroof I have ever seen! It is so large it almost feels like a convertable!

E, thanks for the info. I do think you made a great deal. By far the best rate I have heard of yet. That is amazing that a 2 year lease is better than a 3 year I have been waiting since March myself and could have had a Victory Red one on Monday but I am waiting for the Slate Blue. Said it should be in by the end of the month. We will have to see what they can do for me. I really don't want to but if the deal rates aren't good enough, I will wait for about six months for things to settle down. Whish I could get the GMS discoumt I have been amazed how poor the comunication has been from my dealer since the have my $1k deposit. Guess they figure that they had me at that point. Thanks again for the info and enjoy your ride, you did good

Hello everyone and thanks for the info! New to the forum and the Hummer world and hope to get my first one by Christmas .

It has been great reading all the info and experiences of everyone.

Bparker, had a question for you or others that may know: How do the 20’s perform when off-roading? I would like to get me a “sick pair of rims like yours once I get my H3, but do not want to sacrifice off-road performance or towing capacity for that matter. Any info or insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks again and nice pics!

Drives just like stock but better in some ways as it corners like a car now. No sway or lean to it at all.

Off road: I would have to say about the same for my type of offroading. The only thing that will hurt me is if/when I ever want to "air down" my tires for extra grip on rocks. I dont have as much side wall flex to wrap around rocks. But again, this really doesnt bother me at all as even when I had my Jeep I never once needed to air down the tires for grip with a rear locker.

=)

Those rims and tires look AWESOME! I want to get a set of Black Helo Maxx 6 rims and some tires on my H3...however with the H3 not really being mine (it is the wife's) it might be hard to get approved. Hopefully showing her pictures of yours will make it easier.

Great looking H3!!

Mr. Parker:

Now THAT is one nice rig!!

I like the fact that you don't have the chrome package, too. IMHO, that would be TOO MUCH.

You've definitely got the right mix.

Well done bro, well done.........

That's a bad @ss truck bparker. I was on the website a couple of months ago trying to decide between off-road and marker lights. Since they won't be in for a while, I guess I can keep thinking about it.

Well the marker lights serve no function and the off-road lights do... so it was a no brainer for me.

But I will admit: after having the roof lights mounted I have alot of wind noise =(

Please explain. I thought the marker lights made you more visible, while the off road lights were only use off-road and at night. I figured you would use the marker lights more. How often do you use the Off-road lights? I was concerned that the off-road lights might decrease gas mileage, since you said that they have a lot of wind noise, I think this is the case.

The marker lights will make you more visible but on top of that they look great. Personally, I am going to go with the marker lights because I don't see myself using the offroad lights much. They also make it look to much like a Liberty to me. Just my 2 cents
