The 2005's are hit/miss as far as having #1 and 2 on the back of them. Several of the personalization features were removed from the 2003 model year
As far as the alarm, what features exactly do you need? It's feasible to add a shock/microwave/ultrasonic sensor as a trigger to the factory alarm, which would keep the features you already like without having a second set of remotes or putting out a lot of $$$. Ask your local alarm installer. It's just a power feed or ground supply issue.
