Well my 6 disc changer only works for cd's but you could get a dvd changer that will do the same job as an in dash unit.
You could place a dvd player in the center console, you will need to make sure that it will work mounted verically as well as horizontal. You will need to modify the inside of the center console. The NAV/DVD dash unit only reads data DVD's and i keep my NAV disc in there all the time. It will play cd's i understand but i never used it for that due to the 6 disc changer. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Thanks for the follow-up.

My '05 came with the center console vertically mounted DVD unit and Visualogic head rests. I've been considering removing the existing player and replacing it with a multi-disc unit under the rear seats. I sure would like to have the storage area in the console and swapping dics while driving with the present setup isn't exactly convenient. Or safe.

I have Framecam's Hitchcam mounted on the rear spare. It'll help with backing up to a trailer but it does have its limits. The line of sight from the cam to the hitch receiver is blocked by the bottom of the tire. It'll get you close, maybe close enough with a little practice.
