This is kinda embarrasing but before I take it in to the dealer next week, thought someone might be able to add some light. Referencing the "photos of YOUR H3" Dec172005, I think I bent something in the steering. First my 3 tracks for the most part straight down the road, but its only with the steering wheel turned clockwise a few degrees. The dealer thinks that its just wheels outa alignment. I'm not so sure. Its going in this coming Tuesday.

I hope so... that obstacle in the pics... the line I took had a few holes that I powerd through, but the front skid plate slammed down very hard on a rock... caving it in a bit.

True that Darth, If anyone has any questions as to the functionality of the UC protection, Rocker Rails, skid plates... they weren't on for show this past weekend... you can see on some of the other picture links my 3 high centered on the pass. side rocker rail... wannabe went without, came out okay... I went with and just bashed the hell out of them. I think I need improvement driving.

Sorry to hear that Nate - from that riding we did, I got a scratched wheel, big scratch on the side and real dirty engine compartment now.

I am almost scared to wash the truck and see what else I scratched.

Yeah I saw couple of your videos... they were pretty awesome. Havn't seen the videos I believe wannabe was going to post requiring an ftp process... did he figure it out? If he's having a problem using the command line, have him download winscp... that makes it even more simple.

I usually wash once a year or so, red and black not so good at hiding scratches and dents

Oh, check your tie rods, that would seem to be a weak link. the front skid you plowed into a rock probably attaches to a cross member so pretty stout.

yeah i was definetly concentrating on finessing my 3 up there since i got no underbody stuff... thats next on my list... the hummer happenings if you get invited to them offer a little obstacle course b4 the trailride that teaches you left foot braking and throttle control which i believe really helped me on the harder stuff out there... i still havent figured out the ftp stuff. well i havent really tried very hard tho :P

WTF? How did you bend the frame and what is bent? Did you bend a crossmember possibly?

Chasing a rubicon hell's half acre, I knew it sounded pretty bad inside the cab, but those standing around said it wasn't that bad. It was the front most cross member that the skid plate bolts to... I bottomed out on that thing about as hard as I guess a person could. Anyway the dealer said bent frame, to keep it off GM's radar for warranty purposes take it to a frame shop. So I did, and they sent me over to another guy... and he took a look at it and he determined the frame is bent but the wheel alignment should correct for it. So just had it done... so I'm ready to head back out to the trails as soon as I can find someone to go with. Yahoo! God I love this thing.
