GMID stands for the GM promo "GM In the Driveway" that provides GM employees with two voucher numbers per month they can give to people permitting them to buy at the "supplier discount"; slightly above invoice price. First you need to find someone to supply the voucher (they can be found in the forums) and then a dealer who will honor it (many won't on hot sellers).
