F5 no not the water pump pully the weeping is coming from the timing cover bolt seen juts above the crank pully bottom front of motor.

Like I said unfortunately the crank pully inhibits the removal of that particular timing cover bolt so the crank pully will need to be pulled and I assume the fan and fan shroud althogh I cant remember now how much spce was there pergaps just the belt and the crank pully is all that is needed to be removed to access and remove the bolt and throw some sealent on the threads and the bolt head flange and a re-torque.

something else to add to the list.

I will have thm do it when the apillar plastic pieces and the 2 top side rails become available and have them try to diagnose the cold start rattle.

so to date this is what I have had done.

1) rear washer pump
2) encoder motor replaced and the TCCM re-programmed
3) onstar module replaced
4) new serp belt and pullys cleaned and tensioner checked
5) re-program the BCM for the rough idle
6) 5 trips to the dealer 2hrs away

left to do

1) replace 4 plastic trim pieces as I have the cracks on both sides of the a pillar to side upper rail trim pieces

2) cold start rattle

3) timing cover bolt leak above crank pully (I cant see this being an 11hr fix can it??)

ughhhhhh

thanks F5
