Here's a topic near and dear to your hearts, your truck's color.
I've been thinking about the different color choices and here's my opinions on them.
Black: This isn't even a color so it doesn't count. You can disregard all my prior posts about the color black because I was color blind back then so they don't count.
White: This is a combination of all colors. Just like a rainbow. 'nough said on that.
Yellow: Who the hell wants to drive or ride in a Short Bus anyway. Not me.
The orange/red color junk they did: Why? Just plain ugly.
Pewter: This is for people who are afraid to make decisions. They're normally wimpy little people that don't exceed 5'10", but think they're the shiznit. Some even have wierd accents.
Slate Blue: It's really gray which means it's pewter. See above.
Special edition orange and blue: Can you say "South Beach Parade"? Not my way, brotha'.
Desert Sand: The REAL HUMMER color. Nearly Army green with a bad attitude included free! The only color to have any HUMMER in.
That is all.

Desert Sand=same color as my recent morning phlem
(Looks like trip to the doctor is due.)
Black is obviously the only color for an offroad rig...latest offroad tips show black to be least succeptable to trail damage.

It all depends on which Color Theory you subscribe to:
Additive color or subtractive color
In printing and painting the subtractive color model is used. Therefore White is NOT the combination of all colors, Black is.
So, to sum it all up: By Kens definition, Black = <span class="ev_code_RED">R</span><span class="ev_code_GREEN">A</span><span class="ev_code_PINK">I</span><span class="ev_code_BLUE">N</span><span class="ev_code_RED">B</span><span class="ev_code_PURPLE">O</span><span class="ev_code_PINK">W</span> = GHAY
White is not a color by Kens definition, BUT, it does have the best Mud On Paint contrast. So, by definition, White is best!
All those other colors... whatever

Hey Ken: Are you sure you aren't colorblind now rather than before and think that your desert sand is actually black? Colorblindness tends to get worse with age, not better .

Okay, I'll bite. I'm 6'0" 200lbs, own a '03 pewter which I didn't get a choice about since I bought it used and that was the only option there was, plus I'm definitely not the shiznit, just an average joe. But I'd be willing to try Desert Sand. If I drive to VA Beach, will you pay to have my '03 repainted [by a good shop]?

Ken,
I drive a two tone black...well dark pewter metallic and pewter H2. I am not afraid of making decisions, I make them every day as an architect, and decisions are my job. And as for being wimpy, I'm not even going to justify that commit with a responds. I am 5'11'' 240 lb. ex-Army, Airborne Ranger, and I am the ****nit. LOL! And as for the weird accent, I guess your right on that one, because I see a lot of pewter H2, north of the Mason Dixon line, and all those people up there speck funny! The bottom line is this, Pewter is the classiest color hummer, and people, who buy pewter Hummers, just know a classy looking Vehicle when they see it!

I got a desert sand H2 as a loaner the other day. I have to say, it makes for a mean machine.

In the South, in the Summer, white is the absolute coolest color. (no, that's not a racial remark)
