Does anyone know if the 2004 will be recieving a breast reduction in the HVAC area? Love the truck but this worries me. I have already ordered mine but could easily get out of the deal if they change the cup size in the 2004. How did THOSE slip by anyway? 450 HP(2004 supercharged option) sounds good and the new suspension would be nice oh ya and the polished rims with larger and more aggresive tires are cool but I have not heard of any interior changes. Oh to be an informed buyer.

I wouldn't mind also hearing if anyone has heard about the schedule for the SUT.
I did read a blurb about GM/Hummer looking into the 8LV8 in the next release of the H2.

If you don't like the colors, you can have yours painted. This guy had his brand new Red H2 custom painted blue after owning it only 2 months.

Here is what I know about the SUT...
1. I have already put my deposit down on mine.
2. Due late spring (which I am figuring mid Summer)
3. POSSIBLE Duramax
4. POSSIBLE complete glass roof that retracts behind the backseat. It will beome a complete open top truck. I was told that this option is why it is taking so long.
5. $4k-$5k less than SUV...
That is what I know so far. I haven't checked in about a month, so there may be more details out there...

So where the heck are they going to put the spare tire on the SUT? The bed is going to be off limits. Would they also try and incorporate the rear-attched swing-away mount that the dealers are now offering on the SUV?
Which Duramax are they going to use? HP, Tourque?

The SUT model that I seen had a swing out tire carrier on the rear. The Hummer dealer here in Reno had one that was being tested through the Rubicon trail.

Do you think that the SUT will be the first to get the duramax or are they going to revamp the SUV so soon after release? I would bet that the SUT would be first because they are counting on heavier use out of its owners.
Just my humble opinion, I could be very wrong(but never in doubt! ).

MichaelB14 do you have a website I can go to to see some more details on the H2 SUT?
All I have on the SUT is this site:

There is some decent info on gmcanada.com. Do a search on the H2, you'll find it.
The info is not the most current but its worth a look.

Besides the weight of the duramax/allison, there is a big reliability problem with the durajunk. My 2001 sierra was at the dealer for over one year trying to be repaired. Fuel pressure regulator, injector pump, heads, and misc. other components were replaced, and they still couldn't get it right. I'm glad it's gone. Besides a quality problem there having, it would probably add another 2000+ pounds, makin a real nose heavy Hummer! Just One Guys Opinion

I just wonder where will spare tire be on SUT?
Perhaps we could copy it to gain some cargo space.
