It's going to be tight squeeze in my garage.
One of my wifes argument against the H2 is that it won't fit. I argue that it doesn't matter.
How many of you actually park the truck in your garage?

When I built the addition on the house, I also put on a 26'X28' garage.
12' ceiling height and a 18'X8' door .
I also put radiant tubes under floor so the cars can keep their feet warm .
Pull in w/ ice and snow and a couple hours the car and floor is dry.
Works great except some warm days in the spring and fall when it 90 degrees plus in there because it is on the zone for the basement and the thermostat is there too.

I park mine in the garage every night, when I built my garage I built it large enough for a truck I had a few years ago that had 38"tires a 6"suspension lift and 3"body lift so my H2 looks great in there, however it makes my wifes Denali look small

I park in the garage. If you have any questions about dimensions, let me know. Mine was a tight squeeze so I know all the data.

I used to live downtown in a highrise and my H2 had about a quarter inch of clearance in the underground garage. Now my house comes with a nice huge carport, so it is easy to get my H2 under cover. I also live in the forest so if it wasn't covered it would be covered in sap.

I can relate to this! Every few months my side of the garage gets full of supplies for whatever project I'm working on. In fact, I spent the better part of this past Saturday moving tools, 130 2x4s, and 60 sheets of sheetrock down to the basement. Sucked....

Lets see that data Zazing. I think the SUT will fit, but the top corners of the opening have 45 degree angles. So I'm probably OK on height and width, but am wondering about those angles.
Similar to this pic I found searching the web:
Thanks,

I garage mine. Why is it that we can keep a 50K+ vehicle outside and "stuff" in the garage?

Hey Dan,
Those angles won't fit. When I bought my house, I specifically had them square off the corners. As for the sides, if the mirrors didn't fold, there's no way it would fit.
As it is now, I have about 2" on top and 5" on both sides in clearance (with mirrors folded).
When I head in, I fold the mirrors and once pass the door, I open them again to see the rear clearance when I back out.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
David

I park mine in the garage, however it will soon get booted out on the street to make room for a 71' Cuda project.

Mine is always garaged,it is only a couple of inches wider at the mirrors than the z71 extended cab truck i had before it and not as long so it fits nicely. As for height it fits in a standard 7 foot tall door.
