Yes, it is a small computer and can be shipped by air, if requested by the dealer. There are parts warehouses in Salt Lake City, somewhere in Calif, and Denver. Not sure about GM parts and their policies in shipping by air.

I guess my biggest worry is, "is it really the SDM." These computers are pretty iron clad, and not a large replacement item, except after a crash when it is mandatory to replace.

I sure hope the tech did the diagnosis correctly, but I have to say that if they replaced the rollover sensor and that did not work, it appears they are replacing parts and not diagnosing the system. The diagnosis charts in the service manual are pretty good, and if followed correctly should lead the tech to the problem, which could be a sensor, the SDM, a wire, or even a loose connector.
