I've owned my 04 H2 for almost two weeks. I love it. My BMW 740 hates it because i haven't even thought about driving it since i put it in the garage the day I brought my H2 home.
The H2 has been so much fun. Girls come up to me and say give me a ride in your Hummer with there boyfriends standing next to them. The other day I was giving my buddy a first ride, as we turned a corner a girl was staring at us. My friend said she was checking us out. I told him it like that all day long. Turning heads and thumbs up.
Yesterday I ran into a friend of mine. He has a 2003 Chevy HD lifted on 35's. He was braging about how cool his truck was, I have to say it was clean. As he was talking I looked up to see 4 people standing next to and looking at my H2. I told him wow all those guys passed right by your truck to look at my H2.
I took it offroading up in the mountains near Los Angeles. we took a fire road up to the top of Kagel Mountain where I launch my Hangglider. We took a crazy trail down the mountain nasty ruts and really steep. I know i was tetering on two and three wheels at times. Wow what a ride. I was sweating and my mouth was so dry i didn't want to roll my hummer before 1,000 miles. The crazyest part of the trail was the very bottom where the trail met the road. It was so verticle as i was inching down i thought i was going to take my headlights out, my grill was almost touching the ground, lookin out my sunroof was at the angle my front window normally is at. All I could see out my winshield was dirtroad two inches from my grill. That ride alone was worth the $ 55,000. H2's kick ass..... See you all on the road..

I don't care how many times I look at it or who else has it. For the past 3-4 years since it's rumor to arrival, that H2 looks so damn good!

My g/f is starting to get tired of riding in the H2. People are always staring and wanting to look inside. I just tell her to get the spinach out of her teeth

BTW, Nice H2 and nice 740, but Dennis is right, get rid of the 740 and put another H2 there!

Nice choice! Another BMW guy switching to the H2. My M5 never gets driven now and my girlfriend always wants to take the H2 instead of her (mine, actually) M3. However I never ever get positive looks or comments now. Portrlanders seem to either ignore the H2 altogether or sneer or flip me off. SUVs in general are not popular up here in the downtown area. I still get positive looks in the suburbs, but who cares about the suburbs...
I don't really care though. I have had this truck for over a year now, and it is scratched to high hell from running the trails. If people want to stare, I normally mutter something like take a picture, it will last longer. I tell you what though, when my girlfriend drives the thing she gets looks from just about every guy. Wow, a chick in a big H2.
