When installing a 6" Fabtech lift on an H2 do the rear airbags have to be re-calibrated?
Thanks

Brent

LOL! The load levelers, yes. I don't know the answer to your question, but it is my recollection that the Fabtech H2 6" Lift comes in 3 flavors; Air-Suspension and Non-Air-Suspension.

I think Phil D from Trail Duty would know for sure.

The reason I ask is I was talking to a hummer shop in Nevada and the fellow told me that after they install the kit they send hummer to the hummer dealer to re-calibrate the air suspension.
I am having the kit installed up here in Canada and the shop that is doing it have installed lots of lift kits but never on a H2.

Just want to make sure I have everthing covered .

Thanks

Brent

Hmmm... Yes I think I heard that somewhere before.

As I mentioned, you might want to PM PhilD.

http://www.trailduty.com/products/fabtech/index.html

It states the following:

"To properly address the H2's fulltime transfer case Fabtech include a CV style front driveshaft to provide smooth driveline operation. Ride height is increased to 6" over stock for clearance of tires up to 40". Rear lift is accomplished with either an extended coil spring or air ride spacer system."
