I changed my own oil a couple of months ago because it was way easier than dropping it off at the dealer for the WHOLE DAY and then paying twelve times more than it should cost. I went to Costco and bought a six-pack of aluminum pans used for roasting turkeys to use as the catch basin. When I was done, I poured the used oil back into the Mobil 1 bottles, put them back into the box, and threw away the pan. As far as having to get rid of the used oil… I put the box in my parking stall (I live in an apartment) and it was stolen within three days. There’s probably another 6,000 miles left in that oil… the fools…
