I just wanted to let you guys know that I have gone back to my stock 32 inch tires.I bought the BFG A/T 33 inch.I just couldnt handle the road noise anymore.I really like the aggressive tread but just to dam loud for me.Plus the ride is much smoother know.Great tire dont get me wrong, but to each his own I say.

The manufacturer puts a lot of testing into their tires to aid handling, noise, and all around driveability. SUV tires are always a compromise between handling, traction, and noise, for the best of all three. I do a lot of off road, some snow, and mud and it's hard to beat the Goodyear MT/Rs I've had on two vehicles, but the noise (very loud) and fast wear will drive you nuts. I ran through two sets of the Goodyear Wrangler AT/S's on my prvious SUV and found them to be a tire I could live with on road and off road, with incredible snow traction, but definitely louder than OEM. Tirerack.com has all kinds of good info on tires with ratings on traction and noise and owner comments. Also, al ot of your superior offroad tires have low speed ratings and high noise ratings.

I agree...Goodyear MTR's are the way to go. They'll be noisier than the BFG all terrains, but I still find them plenty quite to drive with every day.

I have decided to put Michelin LTX M/S 33 inch tires,I do a lot more higway driving than off roading.I think these might be what I am looking for.

Road noise is a very subjective topic. I test drove an H3 adventure and did not find it noisy at all on the road.
I drive an 96 Corvette with aftermarket exhaust so I guess am not that picky regarding road noise.
