Cool Bike...Looks like lots of fun!
What do they run(Ballpark)?
May trade in one of my ATV's for something like that!

They are abour $5200 I been looking at them for a few months, might have to get one in the spring. The only downside is they are only like 6 HP and about 20 MPH

Ric , yes there around $5000. from Rokon , they are built in Rochester, New Hampshire. They have changed hands a bunch of times and havent changed much since the 60's. I have a small company & we are starting to build a two wheel drive also . It will compete with Rokon , some of our features that make it better are stainless steel frame, hydraulic brakes, lighter in weight , less moving parts, track kit to replace tires in winter. They are going to be availabe around June. They will sell for about $4000 with the tires. Anyways, i use my rokon to cruise woodlots, land tracts, It will go about anywhere you point it , if you can stay on.

I prefer this. It is able tackle most everything I've taken it through. The key is momentum and lots of throttle.

It seems to me that a quad makes more sense for really nasty mud, hunting, rock crawling etc. Two wheel drive would be interesting. I think some of the KTM prototypes have it. What exactly is the Rokon designed for?

The rokons are used for alot of different applications . I think it works best for getting to remote spots that have no access. They are pretty slow from walking speed to 30mph. . It's just a niche market , I've read that they build about 300 a year. They're not for everyone, but work good for me exploring land for timber where there are no trails. I was just curious if any h2 offroaders had one.

Yes , they can go about anywhere that you can hang on. The rokons are still made today in New Hampshire. The bike on the left is a Trail Partner and they are 2x2 or 3x3. I have some of the only ones left in existence and am having them reproduced at a fabrication shop to sell. Just as a hobby.

They sound like they were a good endurance bike , the people that owned them really bragged them up. Are you still in New England. I'm in Maine. Doug

Rich, Sean seams to be very nice and knowledgable about the bikes . He has some rides i think once a year. Have fun with it. I park mine in a different spot on my hummer than you do.
