For those that are interested in off roading in Moab, please add your name to the list. We will be going in April before or after the Easter Jeep Safari. Dates and everything will be posted in a PM only. Consider that Moab is a very scenic place, so if you are a hardcore off roader or just like to do scenic stuff, there are all types of trails and things to do. This is not organized by Elcova or HUMMER. You are reasponsible for you, your vehicle, your passengers, and breaking/ fixing your truck.

For those that want to attend and plan to off road, off road susp w/ rear locker, UC protection, rock rails, and no steps are a really good idea!

End of Feb, we will start a PM. so come meet everyone and enjoy Moab.

I'm just starting a new job in DC so don't know if I'm going to be able to make it out, but I definately would like to be in the loop just in case my schedule opens up.

What do you mean over rated? How many times have you ran the trails there?

I doubt that. It's all in the line you take, or don't take that makes the rating. I would stack Metal Masher, Pritchett Canyon, and Behind the Rocks against anything anywhere. The beauty of Moab is its diversity in difficulty though.

beauty is in the eye of the beholeder . I dont like the desert , every thing looks the same . See the 1st mile you seen it all . Thats a matter of preference though .

Iv been to Moab , Slick rock ! about as slick as rough concrete . You can pull some wild angles with the traction there is there .

Take a boulder and put some mud on it and the challenge goes way up . Tellico trails in NC and Tenn for me thanks .

Its my oppionion rookies find Moab a challenge , If you have little off road experience you will enjoy it there .
