Re: Mirror moves
My dealer is over an hour away. If its .. simple.. I'd like to just do it here.

Re: Mirror moves
Or just deal with it until you have a laundry list of issues to have taken care of and then take it in. My dealer is about 10mins away and I still only take it in once I have a laundry list of stuff to fix.....It's a pain in the ass to take your rig in.

Re: Mirror moves
Bummer. I hope I never end up with a laundry list of warranty items to fix on my H3.
But I get the point, I'm waiting 'til my next oil change for the rear washer fix.

Re: Mirror moves
Where is it loose; where it attaches to the door, or where the arm attaches to the plastic mount?
If where it attaches to the door, just remove the door panel and tighten the four nuts holding the mirror to the door.
Another place that could be loose, is the small screw at the bottom. Swing the mirror all the way to the door, and look down at the pivot area, there is a small screw, make sure it is tight, but do not overtighten.
If that does not do it, the dealer is the best place to go. I have disassembled the mirror to run wires for the turn signal LEDs, and it is not simple, and easy to break the plastic if not careful.

Re: Mirror moves
Had the right mirror loose (just a little) on my Gray H-3. It was loose at the pivot point. The DEALER replaced the whole thing. Flew in the new one overnight.

Re: Mirror moves
I couldn't tell where exactly my driver side mirror was loose. I could only really tell when I was driving down the road and the mirror face was shaking like jello.
The dealership replaced the mirror...so they said. I'm still having the shaking however. I will be taking it back in once I return from Paragon.
But yes...I agree w/ the census. WARRANTY!
