Default Re: Rear wiper blade worn already ?

I believe the new Escalade uses the new blades from the other Caddy's that is made by Valeo. Replacement blades are $20.00 someone told me. They wipe better with no streaks, but the rubber will wear out just like the old fashioned blades. So, are they worth the extra price?
As to the size, per GM, the driver side is 16.7, the passenger side is 15.7 (don't ask me where these engineers come up with these odd sizes ), however I put a 16 inch on the driver's side, and have not noticed the .7 inches not being wiped (.35 bottom, .35 top since the blade is centered). For winter I used a 17 and a 16 for winter blades with no problem. However, you might run into some problem with a 17 inch on the passenger side, I believe from my un-scientific measurements in freezing weather a few months ago, that 17 might rub up or go over the top trim.
