The factory slantbacks are hard to come by (they only made 39 of them!), but you can put an aftermarket slantback on a 4-dr hardtop.

By truck bed, do you mean a 4-door hardtop or a 2-dr pickup? Starting in 2002, they did not offer either of these any longer as "normal civilian production models," although you could still order either of them as a fleet vehicle/special order.

Pre-owned 99-01 trucks go for between 43-50k in "dealer reconditioned" shape (i.e. almost like new) from a good dealership (like Lynch Hummer for example). You can find them for less through private sales...

I am seriously tempted to get an original Hummer one of these days. Stupid question (because I really don?t know a lot about H1s) but how much would a used (2000+) H1 slant back or the ones with the truck bed cost?
