Re: Sourgrass Sat?
I'm planning on being around Modoc, maybe Lassen, which is waaaay far north of there. Sourdough looks down south of Tahoe - thats a bit too far for me. SHEEEYAT! Streets & Trips says it's about a 6 hr drive from Modoc to Arnold, CA - I don't think I could make Sunday (I'm not leaving Washington until mid-Saturday), but what about Monday or Tuesday - I'm on vacation so as long as I'm not working, I don't care where I go

Re: Sourgrass Sat?
If you are not working, leave Saturday morning. The Trip from Modoc is 80mph all the way, did you adjust the speed on the software?

I'm planning on leaving Vancouver Saturday at lunch. I have to meet w/the builder & lender for my house that morning to sign all the last paperwork before I head out on vacation. I know from my house to Truckee is an 11-12 hr drive (ignoring Modoc, I-5 to I-80) - I could just drive straight through, wheel on Sunday, then drive back up and camp the rest of the week.
Ah hell, screw it, that's what I'll do! Where are we meeting, when, and how the heck do I get there. Looks like I'll be pulling the straight drive down I-5, give me an address, GPS waypoint, or something I can plug into my laptop to tell me how to get there.
See ya Sunday!

Re: Sourgrass Sat?
So it's sunday then? Sewie - Sunday work for you?
Lets get this nailed down ASAP, it looks like I may be leaving tonight after all. I'm worried about my brother trying to make it through sourgrass at night with almost no wheeling experience and only his rig.
We could meet at the parking lot just outside sourgrass and then head out from there?
CB channel?
Evl - once we get this nailed down a bit I will get you better directions.

Re: Sourgrass Sat?
ps - evl, do you have a CB? If not go get one. A hand held from radio shack works just fine.

Maybe one bully will go. The other has to work. Will hook up with Humbebe if so.
How about you Racer X on going to Hollister on the fourth, or will you still be camping?

Re: Sourgrass Sat?
Its about 1.5-2 hrs from Stockton to Arnold. Then it just depends on which trails we hit. There's a bunch of them in the Bear Valley area.
It takes me a little over an hour to get to Stockton so meeting anytime from 7 on works for me.
TGL you have to come out this time.
