We both need to tread lightly so we do not get in the situation where our excitement causes a situation where both of us give up our homes and personal assets to the first person that does something stupid and injures or kills someone during an event we put together.....

The Doc's I used to work for had a medical term that fits really well here....FOS.

I used to worked for Nurses that talked this way when they felt threatened by EMT's. It sounds good but amounts to "I want to hold you down and in place". You are also to not expand your knowlege and skills.
