Default Front tow lope removal, surprise

I was dreading removing the tow lopes to install tow bar plates so I could tow the H3. Wasn't looking forward to it after you guys talking about removing the grill, lower steel below, ect. After removing the four large bolts I removed the center screw. Guess what? the lower part now has a square hole and a pop in nut. Made my day. Is mine different or have I missed something

Mine was the same way. I think they changed the way it is put together.
