Sounds like HGW gave his expert opinion pretty clearly. Why would you want to spend an add'l 1000 on a 3000 dollar kit that HGW made clear how good the BPS kit is.

Sounds to me, you've got it in your mind that you want the extra 2" and you're trying to justify it.

Go with HGW's advice and stay with the 12" complete kit. You'll be much happier in the long run.
