I still get people looking into my H3 ..sometimes I'm sitting in there and they don't realize it at first. Anyways, I'm always afraid they're going to try to key me while their eyes are peering inside.
Did you have vanity plates??

Did you bop the SOB on the back of the head with your fist? Or better yet, if he is bending over, a swift kick to the right location will assure the tree-hugger will have no little saplings.
He is committing a crime, so you can stop him.
I sure would have, and then called the police. Police look at stealing plates as a pretty serious misdemeanor, since stolen plates are used on stolen vehicles.

no vanity plates just random letter and numbers. No I didn"t catch them in the act, but trust me if I would have there would have been, what we in the hockey world call, a scuffle.
