Re: Need a + wire for clinometer light
Thanks F5 I will either use that yellow one in pillar or go to cluster under dash if theres a light wire there.
I rather hook it up with the light if possibile.
Is there a wire in the cluster under dash,I know I picked up a ground there and a constant + I have going to a relay .I thought one of those were lights.
I will take a look tonight when I get home.
H3slate I got it on ebay under $13.00 shipped

Re: Need a + wire for clinometer light
I ended up getting the power from the 2nd gray wire that goes to the rear wipper switch. It works off the light circut that way lights on clinometors on.
I had to remove the swivel base and hack saw off a plastic collor to make the bottom flush.I used thin 3M double sided tape(gray) to mount to the top of the mirror(velcro was not as secure)
Not bad for $12.95

Re: Need a + wire for clinometer light
Its somewhat level (little off) in the normal mirror viewing position.
On level ground it can be adjusted level if I square off mirror and angle up slightly before off roading.(cant see out the mirror in that position)
Pics are in my driveway (driveway is on a angle up and down to the right, normal viewing position)
View from back seat
