looking for info. on driving lights on when headlights on ?

Been running this fix since I bought in Nov of 02...love it!

I did not use the diode, and if I don't want the park lights on in the daytime, I just rotate the headlight switch off.

I also replaced the crappy DRL's with '03 Lincoln Navigator fog fixtures (minor mod) and replaced it's pigtail/bulb with a 9005 high beam bulb....great driving lights now!!

I see this is a old post but.... does the 9005 bulb fit our wiring harness?
I found a set of 03 lincoln lights on Ebay

Just read the post I listed, it explains HOW to do this.

If you attach a diode in the middle of the jump wire, JUST the DRL's remain on during daylight hours instead of ALL lights, then when the AUTO lights come on, the DRL's stay lit!

yes!!! it can be done... i was going nuts trying to find a switch to turn the drl's on while the headlights are on...
