Re: Sirius Satellite Radio Installation???
Very simple. You don't even have to remove the stock stereo or trim around it! No joke. Then just 3m tape the new tuner up behind the dash somewhere.
Oh and BTW, steering wheel controls work perfectly, it'll still say XM1 and XM2 but it's Sirius!

You started with the XM hookup. I have an '04 that doesn't. Need to know what I need to make it work.

Re: Sirius Satellite Radio Installation???
So all I need is just the tuner and I can hook it up so it displays the station info on the nav screen and the steering wheel controls work? If so, what tuner do I need?
Re: Sirius Satellite Radio Installation???
What you need to know ? Vehicle must have factory satellite radio or be pre-wired at satellite tuner location. Connections are made at tuner location. ? Factory satellite radio tuner is located behind the glovebox. ? Factory radio must be "Satellite Ready". ? The Crutchfield MasterSheet, if available, does not cover OEM integration.? Adapter is included with satellite radio tuner. ? Adapter plugs into the factory radio. ? You will need to connect a 12V constant source and ground to this unit. ? Factory radio must be "Satellite Ready". ? The Crutchfield MasterSheet, if available, does not cover OEM integration.
