Re: I SOLD OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chit Dang Bro, Great decision. Now that you will live there I have a lot of places to suggest you visit. I have been going to that part of the country several times a year for many years and still have not been to many places I want to go and many more I want to go back to. Looks like I may be one of the Closest forum peeps to you now....Moab is only 4 hours from here. (you are less than 6 hours from Denver as well) We will definetly stay in touch for our next trip there...maybe after I get back from Hawaii or late October.
You are going to love it...if you can find work you like. Most jobs are tourism related which is a lot like where I live as well.

Re: I SOLD OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Packer, yep you'll definately have to send us some sort of list. I've already got one started in my little head of the obvious places like all of Canyonlands, four corners, grand canyon, among a few others. If you've got some cool places and/or stuff to go see, let us know in a couple months once we get kinda settled. I don't care if I have to clean rooms in Moab, Or muck out horse stalls, or work in one of the little shops. I won't make as much as out here, but how much do you need to make to live in Moab anyhow. lol Besides, Steve's heard/seen some pretty nice tips for the room attendants, wait people, bell hops. Everyone's on vacation, having a good time and wants to spend their vacation fund, I've got no problem with that. lol And I'd get to meet folks from all over which would be cool. Who knows what kind of jobs we'll get. Steve should get one as a guide or maybe in a 4x4 shop, he'd like both of those I think. But before that, I've got a HoneyDo list for him that should keep him busy till like Christmas! lol Thanks a bunch Packer, was nice meeting you in Moab.

Re: I SOLD OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On my next trip to Moab, we will meet. I have gone out there year since 2002, and plan on coming out more. There are so many things left to photograph.
As for places to see....
Don't forget lower Canyonlands; Needles and the Maze (Fun road in the Needles area, White Horse Trail.....

Where you can actually visit, Paul Bunyon's Potty....

Take three days and travel the entire White Rim Trail
Picturerock on the way to lower Canyonlands
Grand Gulch Primitive Area
Natural Bridges
Grand Staircase Escalante
Take the Indian Guide tour of Monument Valley...

Glen Canyon...and that is for the first year....
Can't forget one of my favorite places; near Moab, Park Avenue just inside Arches National Park....

Re: I SOLD OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow F5! Those are some shots! I think those are way better than one's we've seen on postcards! You should send those in to, um, to, whoever makes the cards in Moab. lol We took the back way over to Bryce (can't recall the road numbers) and camped one night, that drive was very cool. Even had cows in the road, and btw, they don't care about honking the horn, they just look atcha and probably are laughing inside. Anyhow, we drove past Natural Bridges and Escalante but didn't have time to stop and check them out. Next time. Isn't Glen Canyon on the way to Bryce the long way also? What was that nat'l forest we went in and out of so many times? Saw Jacobs Chair, that was neat. Yep, all of Canyonlands for sure. Whenever you want to come out, just let us know.
