Alex, I'll take the Hypertech III Programmer for $200

Answer: What is Ebay.

I should have the programmer by Friday and my H2 tuned by Saturday. I'll let you know if there are any issues or questions

What kinds of real world measured gains are you guys seeing with reprogramming?

I campaigned a bracket car for a few years so I'm used to seeing results measured in 1/4 mile times and have a good idea what it takes to see real improvement.

Dyno HP ratings and wheel measured HP ratings are entirely different things, markerters like to tout a 32 hp increase but it's only at a specific point on the output curve. Real world measured at the rear wheels is more like 7 hp.

Has anyone done 1/4 mile times in an H2 before and after programming? Has anyone logged H2 mileage before and after?

I'm not knocking the programmers but I wonder how much performance gain is psychological and what can be measured?

I was all set to pull the trigger on a Hypertech unit.
Until I saw the note that the maximum size tire you can program in is 33" if you have traction control.
Might have to think about this a little more.

33"s are your sure?! I have heard the HT III goes up to 37". Can anyone confirm? This could be kind of important since I am running 37x13.50x18 Toyo MT's

Sure looks like it.
Look at the fine print on the bottom of the dyno chart.
Might not hurt to call them and confirm it though.

The HT III does go up to 37"....I have one and have programmed it for 37s.

It makes the truck run better. It is noticable. Between the programmer and 37s my mileage went from 13.1 down to 12.1
