Here's a website showing how a full seat swap, cloth to leather was done.
It's the last project at the bottom of the webpage:

Yea i had to have a truck with leather. I would recommend swapping out your cloth for the factory leather than going aftermarket, only because every aftermarket job i have seen does not look very good.

The aftermarkets I've seen (I saw two) were different quality and you could just tell they weren't factory. (BTW hmrlvr, how's your boat doing? Has it been christened yet? )

I'd have loved to bid on the leather in that ebay auction however I'm not sure if it's worth it. The seller claims the seats were removed before much mileage was put on the H3- but the one is damaged. I'm just wondering how well they'll hold up.

Have you seen MTV's Pimp My Ride? That guy at West Coast Customs reuphholstery all those seats. I bet you could find someone similar to do a nice custom job with leather and probably accented inserts, etc. You could have one unique H3 that would be cheaper than getting a 2007.

A quick search showed a few hits, e.g., Auto Interiors.

Dani, are those the same H3 seats that have been on e-Bay for awhile now .. the ones where the drivers seat has some damage to the leather? If yes, then obviously there's more to that problem than meets the eye.
