Re: Rear Roof Lights
Well, I must have done something wrong. I installed 3 LED small marker (each has 3 LED's) lights centered on tailgate, wired them all to driveside rear light they worked. Added 2 additional LED marker lights (one on each top rear corner of tailgate) and now no workie!!!! Any thoughts, I afriad that the extra load from the LED's (would think so as LED is very low load) has cooked the wire from the front of vehicle to rear. I'll be pulling it apart tonight to see what I can find. All wiring is installed corrected and protected from accidentail groundings.
BTW all other lights are working, just the driver taillight and LED's are not working.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Rear Roof Lights
I have the tailight back up and working now. I'm going to wire the LED markers into trailer wiring harness under bumper.

Re: Rear Roof Lights
Wow, I remember this thread. I don't have those lights anymore. They look good at night though.

Re: Rear Roof Lights
Quick question - what color wire did you tap into? I am thinking about adding lights like your set up.

Re: Rear Roof Lights
OK, try this post again as it didn't work the first time. The LED light I purchase only require one wire for power. The ground is provided when you screw them to the tailgate. I will be using the brown wire in the trailer wiring harness located under the bumper just behind the lic plate. I hope to have it done today if it doesn't rain all day. The lights have been installed and the wiring is in place I just need to make the final connection.
