PROBLEM SOLVED !!!!
Switched to the newer plug with 5 wires going to a Drawtite Activator with 4 wires.
From plug to controller - Blue to Blue , Red to Black , Black to White , Light Blue & Brown to Red. and all is well
Thank You All for your help in sorting this mess out.
