OK,....Will be in Moab for 1 maybe 2 days next week. Besides Arches and Canyonland......Can any of you Xperts, suggest a couple ...Must see and Do's! (more scenic than technical on this trip) ...Is there any water to run around there--Class IV Chit is fine! ....Fishin could warrant another Day!

Hangin out downtown Moab is cool enough. Pasta Jays is delicious.

All trails there are scenic and easy. We just exagerated about it's difficulty.

When you're there can you take pictures of the parking lots for some of us vetrans?

I'd also like the end of May. My wife will be in Spain with the baby and I won't be missed.

Sounds like a good time to go to Vegas.

Of all the times I've gone, any time in May is really the best weatherwise and far fewer other people.

When I was there recently, I drove Shafer and Long Canyon Trails. This starts just north of Moab, heads west along the Colorado, up into Canyonlands then over to Dead Horse Point State park and back down into Canyonlands. Basically a dirt road, but the scenery is not to be missed. Take lunch and plenty of water. http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=20379

Make sure you get a map. These trails are on it.

And 7 Mile Rim. Hell's Revenge isn't that challenging either - except for Tower's Alp, Ahm Bobbin' spot.
