Next, time to work on the caps. I decided to taper them a bit, on the front side only. For the fun of it, I put it a 1/4" support near the corner since that part takes the most hits.
Then, welded the caps on. Not designed to look pretty yet.

I left the rear ends flat. I like how they look.
I'm pretty happy with the front caps too.
ONE THING LEFT: Painting. The weather is supposed to be cold and snowy tomorrow, so I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to paint them in 50+ degree weather.
