So far no ice around here, but from what I've heard they're no worse and in many cases better on ice than tires I've had in the past.
I really can't see how you claim they're noisy as hell, they're slightly louder than the stock tires.
BTW, what truck did you have them on?

Re: I got 35's installed! BFG MT 315 75R16
I'm looking at the same tires, I'm also looking at the Toyo's.
Living in northern Utah, ice is a factor, I do a lot of snowboarding in the winter time. Does anybody else with these have snow and ice experience with them? How about the Toyo M/T's? Does siping help? Would you sipe an off road - rock tire?
Bear with me, new guy to the forum, got get all my dumb questions out right away. Anyway thanks for posting, you live in Toronto, if you're thinking they are alright in the snow - I probably got nothin to worry about.

Wait till you get a few more miles on them
Never been in ice...but they do well in snow. If I bought them again, I would have them siped.

Try this link to see what 35's do to your gear ratio and speedo calibration. If that will not work just search BFG and find the little tool that opens to it under tire tips and offroad tires over on the right side of the page.
I have 33's and torsions turned up 6. I have noticed I have a slight polished place on the drivers side front tire on the sway bar and the passenger side.
How much off camber or full suspension stretch have you done with the 35's? I don't want to limit upward travel.

I do have a rub at full lock, and a nice polished area on the front sway bar.
I haven't stuffed the tires or had much opportunity to, the most I've done is that minor rock climb poser shot pic in the first post.
I think Bebe would have the best info on full suspension stretch with 35's, she's tackled some hefty obstacles.

Sorry, yes they're KM's not KO's, dunno where I got KO's from.

Honestly I went with 35's and a t-bar lift for clearance. You will reduce you upward travel slightly, but you trade it for GC.
I'm not a pro wheeler, but, this is an IFS suspension. You really cannot apply the same expectations that you have for a straight axle.
My Toyota buddies call me "HumBebe the destroyer...Queen of no flex" for a reason.
You can do some incredible climbing in it, and if you take on too much you will break it. (Front diff most likely).
But hey, it made it throught the Rubicon....right?

Re: I got 35's installed! BFG MT 315 75R16
When saying it limits upward travel does it rub somewhere when stuffing them? Front or back or both? I checked out some BFG today and it looks and reads like a good tire. Where I wheel I get into a lot of creek beds and tilting. Just checking, I dont want to over do tire size. I mostly need the more aggresive tread as now its time for muddin! How does $1000 for four mounted compare to what you guys found?
I grabbed this shot of a friend behind me grabbin air so I guess its a grab shot?
Has anyone found a price on cheap steel wheels for a second set?

It will stuff itself right into the inner fender on the top.
Coming off a drop on a sand dune, it hit so hard it popped the actual flares out. There was about a half inch gap where the flare connects to the body with clips.
It popped right back in no problem.
P.S. My Husband was driving

I had them on a Dodge Dakota QC. I went back to BFG All Terrain's for better "ON-ROAD" traction (I drive alot in the mountains during the winter) and a quieter ride. Like HummBebe said "Wait till you get a few more miles on them". I think they are a great tire, just not for me.
