ABOUT TO BUY -- HELP!!!!

Good luck with the decision. I previously owned an Infinity QX4. Noticably better acceleration than H3. But I love the 3. I drive it like a truck, not a nimble car. I have manual trans so I can better dial in a useful gear if necessary. H3, is a heavy truck, but I am OK with the power. It's not great, but there seems to be a lot in the upper RPMs.

Saw a review of (correct me if I am wrong) a Mercedes Benz SUV done up by AMG. If you want speed, here ya go. 500+ HP!

OK, with that said, Toyota is nice. I don't think either H3 not FJ have heated mirrors. Seats, yes. Mirrors, no. My H3 is rated 20 mpg highway, and after 8500+ miles I have averaged about 19mpg (18.9+). THis is with 87 oct gas. FJ recommends Premium? I think.

I bought the 3 becuase I can go anywhere I want. Just visited friend in Wilmington, NC and was able to easily drive out on the beach thru 10-12" of soft sand. No problem!
