Well you can continue with your second hand opinion. Because as a Marine I do not think this is a pointless war.

That's just what my brother (a Marine) would have said. Holidays a tough without him.

Yeah I have done the missing the holidays 3 times. The wife and kids hate when I am gone but hate it more when I am gone during X-MAS that seems to be the worst. Hang in there he is with his second family celebrating the holidays but I am sure he wants to be home.

GLBLWARMR ... my brother was Viet Nam era and didn't make it back. He was a Marine tried and true ... VERY proud to be a Marine. He enlisted (not drafted .. it was what he wanted to do). He only had a few credits left before graduating from college .. but thought he could do that later. Anyways .. he was a good man. We all miss him, especially at Christmas.

GLBWARMR's comment still rings true. He has brothers and sisters both here and beyond, so he's safe.

Isn't it interesting how more radical "alternative lifestyle" proponants choose to target kids who haven't developed critical thinking skills? Imagine the screaming and lawsuits if someone started a website promoting heterosexual lifestyle in a similar manner to kids? I have little patience for activitists.
