Yup, at least in my book I did. I spent every summer in VA Bch, staying at a house north side by the Lighthouse when I was a boy and I as grew older and could drive I would stay at the hotels (the blue something) and surf at Crotan, cept now that is all houses. And as I started having money I would stay at the Barclay and party at Peabodys and the Raven. I remember 17th st sub shop which is long gone, used to go in barefooted and on that dirty sandy floor, I am sure there was concrete under it.
Now I only come for the surf festival every year, and stay on that end of town. I have tons of great memeories there...almost all of them are from VA Bch. I was even there when Mt Trashmore was opened and when it closed, havn't been to it since it reopened years ago.
