Re: My Bling-Bling H3 @ Hummertruckworld Gallery
I knew it would be hard for most of you to take, and I truly respect your preferences. Maybe I am out of my element. I bought the H3 because it is one "tough looking SUV." I did not buy it for the off road capability. I am a 60 year old retired CMSgt. from the US Air Force and all my life I have had a passion for "clean" and "bling." Fingerprints on my vehicles bother me as much as door dings do for most people.
Having said that, I do enjoy this forum tremendously and look forward to reading the posts daily. I just thought I should let you guys know you have someone on this forum who does "dance to a different drummer." Right or wrong, I am what I am!
Yes, I have added more bling since these pix were made. I now have billet aluminum door handle surrounds and chrome hood vents. In addition, I have an appointment to get a chrome brush guard and chrome mesh grill with driving lights installed next Friday.
Take care and have a fantastic week!:

While I don't really care for the chrome myself, I applaud you for doing something you like and not being offended or bothered by other people's opinions. Have fun!! It's a great vehicle no matter what you do with it.

Hey Sarge...
Since your 60 years old that pushes me back a slot. Now I'm only the 4th oldest,
You can stay even with the bling !!!!

Thanks Frenzy, Buzz and RYD, for your comments. OK RYD, I will be 61 this July. Does that make me older than you?

Lets see, there's you, me, Zoomie and one other who I can't remember right now. I don't remember the other ages but I do remember I am only the 4th oldest.
You know I think Zoomie is also retired AF. You should look him up...
OH !!! I'll be 60 in April...

Re: My Bling-Bling H3 @ Hummertruckworld Gallery
Yes, I fully agree...You are only as old as you feel. My wife of 39 years is 56 years old and looks more like 36, wears a size 4 and almost always has her mid-driff showing which reveals the "Dale Earnhardt" tattoo on the small of her back.(I am very fortunate) That alone is reason enough to think young.
No Marin8703, I am not too old to pick up chicks. My wife even thinks it's cool when other women take a strong interest in our H3. Personally, I hope I never lose the feeling you get when another individual of the opposite sex shows an interest in your ride, regardless of what it is. I love it man!!!
Just a note for Frenzy1, reference your comment concerning visiting Belgium...I did spend 14 years in Germany(3 tours). My wife is from Trier, I am sure you know where that is, on the Mosel River.
All you guys have a great productive week and may you have the opportunity to get some mud on your H3! I appreciate each of you.
