Hunter's good stuff from what I've been hearing.. I was looking at the black version of that guard for a while, but it seems like the supply has at least temporarily dried up on it..

Yea I wanted a black one and they sent me a stainless instead. I'm getting rid of my chrome grill for a yellow grill to match the truck and I want a black guard. They said 45-60 days for a black one. I'll just end up waiting or buying a different brand. I've heard some good reviews about Hunter, but I also read something about some Tundra owner saying the install instructions were hard to follow... dunno if it's the same for the Hummer install.

Why not just powdercoat it black? then you don't have to wait...

Because I don't know of a local place that does it... and I'd rather have it all done from the same place. So if I have a problem it's one person I'm dealing with.
