True. If both time and money aren't important to you, then spending the extra $4000 to $7000 on the tranny problem and a week of not having your H2 would be nothing.
However, if they are, then by simply installing an after market tranny cooler will save you both.

Yeah, I've heard that the 03 had several problems with it.......but, mine is a 04, and nothing yet "Knock on Wood"
60,524 and still strong.......

My local transmission shop fixed mine and put in heavier duty parts. The head mechanic said the stock parts are made only for an 03 Escalade-like SUV.

'03 with 80K some miles.... None of the above yet.
Did buy a 4 year extended warranty with 100K add'l miles though.
In fact, even with 80K some miles, supercharger is still sitting on the floor in my office. Not having second thoughts about it.
