Gotcha Ernie. Seems like the problem was ice. The defender folks and the Hummer haters are going to have a field day with this. Most people love to hate Hummers. Givin' 'em ammo is not cool. If those are your videos on youtube, it'd be even cooler to delete them because ignorant people that don't know think that the H2 is stuck because it's inferior to the chained up Defender.

Oh yeah, that strap and hook thing, that was intensely dangerous (I've seen tow balls and clevis hooks slingshotted clean through a jeep!). Also, pulling backwards like that is really hard on the steering components.

Hummer owners are much stronger than other... Everyone can have problem on iced hills... During this trip i'm very lucky because other (TOYOTA) without control have broke the oil cooler (motor) with a piece of wood (I do not know the name....pieces of wood on the side of the trail...).
Other people have take the video and say "you are on youtube".
But in Italy we do not have problem with hummer or other trucks....

Ernie, I've simply got to get my wife to Italy. Of all the places in the world I've been, it's my favorite. Perhaps someday I can get her over there.
