Damn, you must not drive that thing much. An 04 with only 13K on it? WoW.

Here in Italy gasoline have 95 (min) octane until 105.
I use GPL or LPG Liquid Petroleum Gas and have 114 octane.
No problem ....

The US uses research octane number (RON) x motors octane number (MON)/ 2 for their average on octane. Europe and most of the world uses RON number only, thus it appears as a higher octane, but in effect, it is the same octane level we use (+/- 1 or 2 points).

Best fuel to use is what the manufacturer recommends, in this case regular. Using other grades will only cost you money and make the oil companies profits go higher. My recommendation, if possible, use a Top-Tier Supplier:

Top Tier Detergent Gasoline

TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline is the premier standard for gasoline performance. Six of the world's top automakers, BMW, General Motors, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen and Audi recognize that the current EPA minimum detergent requirements do not go far enough to ensure optimal engine performance.

Since the minimum additive performance standards were first established by EPA in 1995, most gasoline marketers have actually reduced the concentration level of detergent additive in their gasoline by up to 50%. As a result, the ability of a vehicle to maintain stringent Tier 2 emission standards have been hampered, leading to engine deposits which can have a big impact on in-use emissions and driver satisfaction.

These automakers have raised the bar. TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline help drivers avoid lower quality gasoline which can leave deposits on critical engine parts, which reduces engine performance. That’s something both drivers and automakers want to avoid.

TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline Retailers

Gasoline retailers must meet the high TOP TIER standards with all grades of gasoline to be approved by the automakers as providing TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline.

In addition, all gasoline outlets carrying the brand of the approved retailer must meet the TOP TIER standards.

Additional gasoline retailers are added to the TOP TIER list as they meet the standards. The retailers known to be on the TOP TIER list are shown below.

TOP TIER Gasoline Retailers:

QuikTrip
Chevron
Conoco
Phillips
76
Shell
Entec Stations
MFA Oil Company
Kwik Trip/Kwik Star
The Somerset Refinery, Inc.
Chevron-Canada
Aloha Petroleum
Tri-Par Oil Company
Shell-Canada
Texaco
Petro-Canada
Sunoco-Canada

Yeah I am only going to run 87 octane in mine. Gas has hit 3.20 for regular unleaded on oahu. I have to run 93 in my car and that is up to 3.40 for super.

Perfect, regular unleaded fuel is all you need!! I don't care what anyone eslse says, this is all you need. This is what GM says that is required, if you drive an asphalt prncess then you will need a octane boost and a fuel injector cleaner, such as the product offered by STP. If you drive your truck at least once a month on the highway then you will not require the cleaner...damn it's hard to type when drunk!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy crap stay aewAY FROM moonshibne...seee what I'm sayijnng... Arrgghhhhhh... I am losing typing control....HELP!!!!!!!
