Re: What inspired your username?
OK !
I have always had WHITE vehicles until the DUCK, SO as I approched middle age and saw the H-3, decided I wanted one but desired to become more adventuresome. Having been in the photo industry most of my adult life at whick KODAK "was" the GIANT, and of course their colours were YELLOW & BLACK...
Anyway after deciding on YELLOW (no bling) of which BLACK goes so well I had to think of a HANDLE and of course what comes to mind but a YELLOW DUCKY since the H-3 handles so well in water
well
I have ALWAYS been a non-conformist and since most YELLOW DUCKS are made of rubber I decided that would be good...
BUT
since SEX is so much a part of life I decided to SPICY up the HANDLE from Rubber to RubHer...
SOOOOO!!!
I AM:
RubHer YELLOW DUCKY
BTW: many times in the past i have "misplaced" my vehicle in large parking lots, BUT NOT ANYMORE...

Re: What inspired your username?
I thought I'd shake things up a bit in here. Why "Hippy"? because I am a left wing (not radical), liberal, democrat voting, save the planet, pro-choice, anti death penalty, free speach loving, hippy (at heart). I bathe everyday, shave everyday, don't wear patchouli (can't even spell it). Sometimes I have long hair. Support our troops. And love driving an H3!

Re: What inspired your username?
to make a long story short,
i played guitar for a coverband (rhythm guitar) and had been playing for 7-8yrs.
well one day the "band leader" so to speak held a secret meeting to discuss the new path of the band.
as i walked up to the door i heard them talking about me, it seemd that they were letting me go since they felt that 1 guitar in a band was enough so they didn't need 2 (this was after performing with them for close to 3yrs)
in short i was devistated, i was being removed from the 1 thing i was ever really good at...
after that several opportunities arose that offered me an "only guitar slot" in a few bands, but since i was ALWAYS the 2nd "rhythm" guitar i didn't have the confidence to carry the weight of the whole band alone....so i declined.
and then 1 day...the very same guitarist from the band that let me go, looked me in the eye and basicly afirmed that I HAD THE ABILITY to carry a band...just not the confidence....so i said fuk it and gave it a whirl...
so close to 4yrs after leaving the stage......I returned...stronger and louder than ever.....thus the term (((echo)))
i know....it's cheezy

Re: What inspired your username?
Well in the beginning I was very jealous of the forum. Ken was always on it, snickering and laughing. And I was all;
"What's going on with your ghey little buddies now?" or depending on the mood.
Then I started hearing stories and really started to like people on here and would ask Ken for updates. Or run over and read with him or look at pictures.
Then I started going in for updates myself. Finally, I joined as h2co-pilot, because I was an h2co-pilot, passenger/navigtor/spotter of the beast. I have piloted and had fun offroad since but kept the name.
CP if you're nasty.
