4. They admit the coating isn't durable. It either wears off or burns off. Either way, it will take "bonded" metal with it, leaving pits and scars behind.
5. Combustion doesn't start at the walls. It starts at the spark plug and expands outward in a sphere. By the time it reaches the catalyst on the sides, the process is over ... it's too late to affect burn rate or efficiency.
Hmmm ... what do do?

very good points. but from what i understood of this about number 5 is that the coating is to keep the heat from going into the block instead staying in the cylinder where its needed, not that it will burn from teh walls.
just wanted to say what i thought they meant. but i agree that it most likely doesnt work, but i cant knock it till i've tried it, and im not gona try it for those reasons you said up top, so as a result i just cant knock it.
maybe it works more like a placebo for the car/truck, it thinks it can therefore it can.

Re: a viagra pill for our gas tank?
If their coating significantly insulates the cylinder wall, I'd be very surprised. But I'd be even more surprised if this company actually knew more about combustion temps and rate-shaping than GM (or any other engine manufacturer).
You know, I rode the oil additive bandwagon a while back. (Yeah I know this one's a fuel additive.) Started with Slick-50 and moved "up" to Pro-long and a couple of others. I ended up with rough starts, noises (the bad kind), hesitation and less power from the damage I did to the engines in those cars. If I'd only spent that time and money on scheduled maintenance, they would have lasted longer and been more reliable in the end.
The more I learn, the more I trust the manufacturer. If an engine's inefficient, the problem is the design, and no additive will fix that.

Hey Miami let me know how it works and if it does I'll meet you at StarBucks to discuss it...
