No trade. They are bringing a few in from different dealers to Hummer of Cincinnati in Ohio.
It's not that I did not want the sunroof, just that I couldn't see paying that much more money for it.
Also, I did not mention that I will be getting GM friends and family pricing plus money from the GM credit card rebate program so I was told that I could not really haggle the price down with the dealer. Any truth to this?
Thanks for the tips/comments about buying.

Rant,rant,rant,rant,rant!
why would you people not want a sunroof? How can it be better not having one?
if there was only 1 difference in you final options when picking a car, and they were both the same price. Sunroof or no sunroof, why would you choose no sunroof? I understand its preference, but who can prefer no sunroof. Actually, its more like a skyroof because its so big. But im not seeing it.
I understand people would choose a 5-speed instead of an automatic, but damn, if you are given a sunroof...
I prefer to have a tire cover on my spare, but now i want the hard cover...I would never want it to be the naked tire, i feel incomplete. Oh well, i just dont see it.
My dealor had all the sparetires covered on the trucks with a tire cover, how many of you would take it off, and prefer it naked?...thats just...I guess "America" lol

My fault. I don't know why I left all that out.
I live in Springboro, about 20 minutes south of Dayton. They are actully bringing some H3's down from Hummer of Columbus.
I've got a few more questions...
I was wondering what RPO code ZY1:Color Combination Solid is? It would make sense to me that it would be the body color grille, but I have been wrong before. Also, is the trailering dealer installed? Thanks again guys.

Well the truth is, and I know this because I ran a Chevrolet dealership for 10 years is that you CANNOT use your GM card earnings with any kind of employee discount. Dont let them just tell you you are getting the employee price. You can ask to see the invoice, and on the right hand side of it you will see a few numvers of importance. One says GMS then a price under it, then under that it says SUPPLIER, that is the friends and family price. I know for a fact you cannot use the GM card along with this program. If you have a large earnings amount it would benifit you to just buy the truck at invoice and use the earnings. Also keep in mind if you or anyone in your household owns a nonGM car you would qualify for the $500 conquest rebate, but you cannot use this along with the friends and family program either.

Re: About to buy an H3
We switched the type of GM card specifically so you would be able to use it with the friends and family discount. It is a different type of card. We used both the discount and then earnings on the card when we bought a Colorado.

My inlaws just used their GM card earnings with their GMS discount. Worked just fine. Is it different at each dealership?

Re: About to buy an H3
Whoops I forgot there is a GM Emplyee GM card and it can be used. A regular GM card cannot be used with the GMS or GM Supplier program. Also the $950 plus 0% is good but the $500 GM Conquest monies cannot be used.
