Don't they have to be "grinded down" to fit the H3's flat surface?

There was a small gap underneath the front of the handles, but a little extra torque on the nut took care of it almost completely.

Perhaps one could fabricate a black "plastic wedge" as an "H3 hood adapter"?

I put alot of extra torque on the nut and there is still a gap. I noticed you said "almost" completely. I rather have "completely" completely. Any suggestions on how I can do this?
