My wife's dad drives a BMW Z8 and her mom drives a 6 series convertible. The 6 is a GREAT car. Very comfortable and more than enough room in the back seat. Easily seats two adults.
And, I love the way it looks too ! It's a black one, with special rims and beige leather interior.

Stevie,

Unfortunitly for me the NEXT Hurricane Season has ALREADY started
(June 1st)

In checking prices my home has dropped about 12 %. The good thing is my Moms home is worth about 45 % higher that what she paid 3 1/2 years ago.

As to BMW's. My experience is that they have lousy A/C systems and are way overpriced to repair...

As far as the A/C is concerned with the BMW, you must have drove a lemon. Most work fine from my experience. Just my .02.......Jamie

Problem witht he benz is now they upped the numbers by 50, hence 350 and 550 mercedes usually only does this when they are nearing a change in the model of the vehicle. be ware of this and look up when a new clk is coming out. I would go with the 6 if i were my friends father drives one, and and its great.

I like the Mercedes. I have always been a Mercedes fan - dunno why. I had one when I was younger (hand me down from Dad) and it was so quiet and quick.

I like the 550.

I think the look of the Mercedes is sleeker and unique. You could mistake the 6 for many other convertables these days. Same lines etc..

The Mercedes has more HP, more torque and a larger engine. The same valve configuration.

It has less cargo volume but more passenger volume.

It's has more airbag options and the console doesn't go all the way back flush againts the back seats. Better for the ninja.

I compared all 3 of them here: (I hope the link works )

You can switch em around and compare in categories- performance- safety etc.
